The Scottish Society of Southeastern Wyoming

Do you belong to a  Clan or a Sept of a clan?

Do you have Scottish ancestors, or think you have?

Do you want to know more about Scots heritage; the history, the music, songs, the poetry of Robert Burns, novels of Sir Walter Scott, Nigel Tranter and many more famous Scots from all walks of life?

The Scottish Society is a social group who enjoy good company and a common interest in Scotland and all things Scottish.

A Tea and Open House will be held at the Nagel Warren Mansion on April 14th, to celebrate Tartan Day April 6.    In August, the annual picnic is held, the picnic this year will be August 25, 2007 at the Wyoming Hereford Ranch, and will be a Milk Can Dinner at a cost of $6.00 per person.

The Highland games in Estes Park, Colorado are held the weekend after Labor Day. If you want to see kilts, dancers and hear pipe bands, that's the place to go.

In November, a dinner is held to Celebrate St. Andrew the Patron Saint of Scotland. Pipers, dancers and singers entertain.    This year's dinner will be held at The Hitching Post Inn, on November 17, 2007.

January celebrates the birthday and life of Robert Burns, with pipes, Haggis, songs, and poetry, the Burns Supper will be held at The Hitching Post Inn, Cheyenne on January 26, 2008.
